Description

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Naples, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 36


Job Description

  • Provide patient care in the Operating Room as part of the surgical team, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR technicians.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering care.
  • Responsibilities include ensuring supplies are available, managing case timeliness, communicating with families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting during surgeries, and supervising personnel delivering patient care.
  • Must be able to float between campuses as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Florida
  • Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including OR experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Experience with Cerner electronic medical records system
  • Experience in Urology

Additional Information

  • This is a day shift position with a 13-week contract.
  • Floating between multiple campuses may be required.
