Description
Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room
Location
- Naples, Florida

Schedule
- Day shift (approximately 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM) with on-call duties
- Exact shift times and days may vary based on patient volume
- Approximately 36 hours per week
Job Description
- Provide nursing care in the Operating Room (OR) as part of the surgical team
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR technicians, and other staff
- Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring availability of supplies
- Managing case timeliness
- Communicating with patient families
- Updating physician preference cards
- Scrubbing and assisting during surgical procedures
- Supervising personnel delivering patient care
- Expected to float between campuses as needed
- Must demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in patient care
- Work performed in accordance with State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, physician orders, and hospital policies
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Florida
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in Orthopedics, Neurology, and ENT Surgery
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Experience with Cerner electronic medical records system
