Description

CT Tech (Radiology) - Travel Position

Location: Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36


Unit Information

  • Worksite: Free-Standing Emergency Department (ED) only (no outpatient or inpatient imaging)
  • Number of Beds: Free-Standing ED only
  • Staffing: 1 CT/Radiology Tech per shift
  • Shifts Available: Day and Night
  • Patient Volume: Approximately 10-20 CT radiology exams per shift
  • Equipment Used: GE 64 Slice CT, GE Digital X-ray, GE portable x-ray
  • Documentation System: Meditech
  • Call Requirement: 2 call shifts per month

Typical Procedures

  • Routine CT scans
  • Diagnostic X-ray procedures for a small free-standing ED

Required Qualifications

  • Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina
  • ARRT Radiologic Technologist Certification
  • South Carolina Radiologic Technologist License (SCQRSA Certification)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
  • Radiology Technologist experience

Additional Preferences

  • Proficiency in both CT and diagnostic radiology
  • Ability to function well independently in a fast-paced environment
