Description
CT Tech Travel Opportunity
Location: Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Worksite: Free-Standing Emergency Department (ED) only (no outpatient or inpatient imaging)
- Number of Beds: Free-Standing ED
- Staffing: 1 CT/Radiology Tech per shift
- Shifts Available: Day and Night
- Patient Volume: Approximately 10-20 CT radiology exams per shift
- Equipment: GE 64 Slice CT, GE Digital X-ray, GE portable x-ray
- Documentation System: Meditech
- Call Requirement: 2 call shifts per month
Typical Procedures
- Routine CT scans
- Diagnostic X-ray procedures for a small free-standing ED
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in South Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Radiology Technologist experience
- ARRT Radiologic Technologist Certification
- SCQRSA Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Additional Preferences
- Proficiency in both CT and diagnostic radiology
- Ability to function well independently in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment
- Dress Code: Charcoal grey scrubs
- Fast-paced, team-oriented unit with a supportive culture
- Located less than one mile from the beach in a coastal city with abundant outdoor activities and an average of 215 sunny days per year
Hours
- Approximately 36 hours per week
This position is ideal for CT Technologists seeking travel assignments in a dynamic emergency department setting with a supportive team and access to advanced imaging technology.
