Physical Therapist Travel Job – Florida, Miami

Job Overview

  • Position: Physical Therapist (PT) – Travel assignment
  • Location: Miami, Florida
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Work Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Unit: Rehab Department
  • Facility Type: Inpatient Rehab Facility (35 beds) and Acute Rehab (488 beds)
  • Patient Ratios:
    • Inpatient Rehab Facility (IRF): 1:4
    • Acute Rehab: 1:12
    • Outpatient: 1:10
  • Shift: Day shift (no night shift)
  • Documentation Systems: Meditech (IRF and Acute), NetHealth (Outpatient)
  • Equipment: Rehab equipment

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in Florida
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, including experience within the last year
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting

Work Environment & Dress Code

  • Staffing: Approximately 80 staff members including PT, OT, and ST
  • Dress Code: Scrubs in gray or black
