Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position

Location: Fort Pierce, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

• Department: Occupational Therapy

• Number of Beds: 420
• OT Staff Members: 46
• Shift: Day shift only (no night shift)
• Patient Ratio: Approximately 8 evaluations in 8 hours
• Equipment: Portable acute care equipment
• Documentation Systems: Meditech and Redoc
• Call Requirements: No on-call duties
• Dress Code: Gray scrubs

• Evaluations and treatments related to occupational therapy

Required Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Florida
• Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including experience within the last year
• OTR Certification
• BLS Certification

Preferences

• Previous acute care experience preferred but not required
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable functioning independently

Additional Information

• Facility is a Level 2 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, with Level 2 & 3 NICU, PICU, and a CARF Accredited 50-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF)
