Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse – Cardiac IMC Unit
Location: Tyler, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Unit: Cardiac Intermediate Care (IMC)
- Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 4 patients
- Prior travel experience: Not accepting first-time travelers (must have completed at least one prior travel contract)
- Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred in specialty
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Minimum 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
- Experience in Intermediate Care
- Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment
- ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Requirements
- Must complete unit-specific skills checklist annually
- Complete employment application and resume required
- 7-year work history verification required
- Photo headshot for badge issuance
- Compliance with internal verification systems (E-Verify, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG)
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgement and HIPAA compliance required

- Candidates residing in the following Texas counties are not eligible for this assignment: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
