Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse – Cardiac IMC Unit

Location: Tyler, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Details

  • Unit: Cardiac Intermediate Care (IMC)
  • Shift: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
  • Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 4 patients
  • Prior travel experience: Not accepting first-time travelers (must have completed at least one prior travel contract)
  • Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred in specialty

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
  • Minimum 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
  • Experience in Intermediate Care
  • Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment
  • ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Requirements

  • Must complete unit-specific skills checklist annually
  • Complete employment application and resume required
  • 7-year work history verification required
  • Photo headshot for badge issuance
  • Compliance with internal verification systems (E-Verify, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG)
  • Orientation safety manual acknowledgement and HIPAA compliance required

Restrictions

  • Candidates residing in the following Texas counties are not eligible for this assignment: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
