Description
Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Shift: Day
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Float pool RN primarily assigned to a very busy Emergency Department (ED).
- Responsible for caring for boarder patients, which may include medical/surgical, stepdown, or ICU-level care.
- May be required to float to an acute care unit as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar-sized Level 1 trauma facility.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications.
- Resume must show no employment gaps.
- Must provide an ED skills checklist and ED references.
- Complete demographic information including a badge-appropriate photo is required.
Notes for Candidates
- This role demands strong ED skills and flexibility to float between units.
- Prior experience in a high-acuity, fast-paced trauma center setting is essential.
