Job Description

• Provide emergency nursing care in the Emergency Room setting.
• Must have current flu vaccination.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts (no conditional licenses accepted).
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last year.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.

Additional Information

• Housing agreement required only if moving into shared housing.
• No onsite fit testing available; must be completed prior to start.
• No pets or guests allowed in shared housing.
• Must provide own transportation.
• Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity is strongly preferred but optional.
• Tdap vaccine preferred but optional.

Summary

This is a 13-week rotating 36-hour shift RN Emergency Care position in Massachusetts requiring current RN licensure, multiple life support certifications, immunizations, and comprehensive background checks. Shared housing is available with specific restrictions, and candidates must have their own transportation. Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
