Job Description
- Perform CT imaging procedures efficiently and safely for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics.
- Apply critical thinking skills during imaging exams.
- Recognize and respond appropriately to emergent situations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
- Utilize imaging and hospital computer systems correctly.
- Interact professionally with physicians, team members, patients, and families.
- Access medications as appropriate for job duties.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals.
- Maintain and demonstrate proficiency in required skills, including ongoing skill improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience.
- Prior travel experience: At least 1 year of previous travel experience required.
- ARRT certification.
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC).
- Experience with pediatric to geriatric patient populations.
- Level I trauma experience.
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
- MN DHS Net Study and Fingerprinting clearance (required for all patient-facing roles).
- Must provide:
- Work history.
- Skills checklist current within 1 year, relevant to CT specialty.
- Two supervisory reference forms from the last two years.
- Candidates not eligible to work in the USA must note this on their profile.
Additional Information
- Agency supplies traveler dosimetry badge for the duration of the assignment.
- Dress code: Khaki scrubs.
- Nonbillable hours: 4 hours.
- Local traveler policy applies for candidates living within 35 miles of the facility.
- Strict compliance deadline for credential submission: 4 pm on the Wednesday before assignment start (no exceptions).
- Clinicians must list prior work history with the health system or related entities on their resume.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a Level 1 Trauma center with a diverse patient population and advanced imaging technology.
