Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Day shift, 2 shifts per week (Saturday and Sunday only)
• Shift hours options:

  • 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (12 hours)
  • 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM (8 hours)
• Weekly orientation with ASAP start

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Maryland
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• ARRT (R) certification
• BLS certification

Additional Requirements

• Two positive supervisory references supporting at least 2 years of experience within the last 3 years
• Complete 7 years of work history with no gaps, including education and license information
• Criminal background check within 90 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
• Drug screen within 90 days of start (excluding marijuana)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year; annual TB questionnaire required
• Annual physical exam confirming ability to work without accommodations and free from communicable disease
• N95 fit test within 9 months of start, updated annually (client may complete onsite if needed)
• Required immunizations or proof of immunity:

  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (2 MMR vaccines or positive titer)
  • Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
  • Hepatitis B (titer, series, or signed declination)
  • Tdap vaccine within last 10 years preferred
• Completion of facility-specific orientation modules prior to start
• Photo for badge with specific requirements (clear, centered, no glare, solid background)

Skills & Competencies

• Must pass medication/pharmacology competency exam with 80% or higher within 3 years of start
• Color blindness testing required (online or in-person)
• Competency exam with 80% or higher within 3 years of start

Notes

• Local candidates within 60 miles preferred
• Valid driver's license required if driving on behalf of the employer is an essential job function
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position

This position offers a weekend-only schedule with a focus on CT imaging in adult acute and outpatient care settings, requiring strong technical skills and certifications.
