X-Ray Tech (Radiology / Cardiology) - Travel/Contract
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM), Tuesday off
- Workload: 30-75 patients per day, working alongside another technologist
- Setting: Outpatient center with walk-in patients
- Procedures: Fluoroscopy including Modified Barium Swallows and Urodynamics
- Equipment Used: Konica U-arm, Phillips, EOS, OEC, Dornier, Zheim
- Facility Type: Short-Term Acute Care
- Charting System: Cerner
- Parking: Free
- Scrub Color: Royal Blue
Required Certifications & Licenses
- Indiana Radiologic Technologist License (pending license submissions accepted)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technician license in Indiana
- Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technician experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience as an X-Ray Technician
- BLS certification
- ARRT certification
Additional Notes
- Indiana RN travelers have restrictions starting 11/30/2024; however, this does not apply to Allied Health travelers such as this X-Ray Tech role.
- Candidates must complete facility-specific compliance and orientation documents prior to start.
- On-site Fit Testing is limited and requires prior approval; PAPR use requires facility approval.
- Candidates may need to complete mandatory facility-specific modules before orientation (if applicable).
This position is ideal for a Radiology technologist with ARRT certification and BLS, comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient acute care setting with a high daily caseload and specialized imaging equipment.
