Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a night shift position in an acute care radiology unit, with the ability to perform both CT and X-ray exams independently.

Details

• Acute care hospital radiology unit performing both CT and X-ray exams
• Candidates must be comfortable working independently during their shift
• Equipment includes a Siemens Ysio X-ray room, Samsung portable units, and a CT Revolution scanner
• Charting is performed in Cerner
• 8-hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• No weekend shifts or call required, though holiday rotation is expected
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
• Current ARRT certification and BLS (AHA) required
• Proficiency with CT scanning and general X-ray imaging required
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• Acute care setting experience required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Performs both CT exams and general X-ray imaging, often as the sole technologist on shift
• Candidate must be comfortable operating independently in a low-supervision overnight environment
• Holiday rotation coverage is required
