CT Tech Travel Opportunity – Florida, Aventura

Job Overview

• Position: CT Tech (Radiology)
• Location: Aventura, Florida
• Employment Type: Travel contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

• Unit Size: 18 beds
• Staffing: 8 staff members including Radiologists, Radiologist Techs, Ultrasound Techs, MRI Techs, and CT Techs

  • Day Shift: Director, Radiologist, 6-7 Techs
  • Night Shift: Charge RN, On-call team, 3-4 Techs (varies by volume)
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2 depending on patient stability
• Equipment: All GE equipment including MRI units, scanners, cameras, X-ray, fluoroscopy
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech

Typical Procedures

• CT Scans
• MRI
• Body scanning
• X-Rays
• Creating detailed images of bones, organs, and tissues for accurate assessment

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
• ARRT (CT) certification
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GE equipment
• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Additional certifications such as RT (T), ASRT, or FASRT are a plus
