Job Opportunity: ER Registered Nurse

Location: Lubbock, Texas
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Shift: Night (3 shifts of 12 hours each, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 36
Unit: Emergency Room (ER)
Patient Ratio: 1 nurse to 3 patients
Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks
Block Scheduling: Required
Floating: No floating between units
On-call: Not required

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by American Heart Association
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
