CT Technologist (Overnight Shift)

Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Overnight, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Hours: 32-36 hours per week

Job Description

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures with a high level of proficiency following established policies, procedures, protocols, and guidelines.
• Ensure patient safety during all procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Administer IV and oral/GI contrast.
• Respond effectively in emergencies.
• Document procedures in EMR systems (Epic, Visage).
• Operate GE CT scanners (experience preferred but not required).
• Work under the direction of CT Manager and CT Clinical Lead.
• Rotating shifts may be required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Massachusetts
• Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
• ARRT (CT) certification
• BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross

Health and Compliance Requirements

• N95 Fit Test within 365 days prior to start date; must be updated annually. No exemptions allowed.
• Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation required if fit test is needed.
• Documentation of TB screening within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test) and updated if there is a break >6 months.
• Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity.
• Physician Health Statement within 365 days of start date, updated if break >6 months.
• Documentation of TB chest X-ray if positive TB test.
• Strongly preferred Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity documentation.
• Tdap vaccination preferred within 10 years.

Background and Professional Verification

• Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date, updated if break >6 months.
• Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date, updated if break >6 months.
• National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start date, updated annually.
• Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start date, updated annually.
• Social Security Number trace as part of background check.
• Education verification of highest degree achieved.
• Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state.
• Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher.
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
• Confirmation of Assignment/POI form required for all initial assignments and extensions.

Additional Notes

• Primary source verification of professional license/certification required within 30 days of start date.
• Conditional licenses are not accepted.
• No religious or medical exemptions allowed for N95 fit testing.
• Name change documentation required if credentials do not match legal name.
• Candidate submission coversheet required for initial assignment submissions.
