Description
Occupational Therapist - Acute/Inpatient
Location: Albany, Oregon
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (8:00 AM - 6:30 PM), no weekends
Hours per Week: 40
Job Description
- Provide evaluation, treatment, and discharge recommendations for inpatient acute care patients with orthopedic, neurological, and activities of daily living (ADL) needs.
- Treat patients across the lifespan, from pediatrics to geriatrics, in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Outpatient interventions include hand therapy, orthopedics, neuro, custom splinting, driving assessments, and ADL training.
- Work within a rehabilitation team focused on restoring self-care, physical mobility, and functional independence.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Oregon.
- Minimum of 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience, including experience within the last year.
- Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Additional Information
- No weekend shifts.
