CT Tech Travel Position

Location: West Palm Beach, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Overview

• 18 beds with a staff of approximately 8, including Radiologists, Radiologist Techs, Ultrasound Techs, MRI Techs, and CT Techs
• Day shift includes Director, Radiologist, and 6-7 Techs; night shift includes Charge RN, on-call team, and 3-4 Techs depending on volume
• Patient ratios vary from 1:1 to 1:2 based on patient stability
• Equipment used: All GE equipment including MRI units, scanners, cameras, X-ray, and fluoroscopy
• Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech

Typical Procedures

• CT Scans
• MRI
• Body scanning
• X-Rays
• Creating detailed images of bones, organs, and tissues for accurate assessment

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
• ARRT (CT) certification
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GE equipment
• Experience with Meditech EMR system
• Additional certifications such as RT (T), ASRT, or FASRT are a plus
