Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Leonardtown, Maryland
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (11:00 AM – 11:30 PM), Saturday through Monday
Hours per Week: 36


Job Description

  • Perform CT technology duties in Radiology/Cardiology specialty.
  • No call or float required.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid CT Technologist license in Maryland.
  • ARRT CT certification.
  • BLS certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
  • Completion of at least one prior travel assignment.

Additional Requirements

  • Two positive supervisory references supporting at least 2 years of experience within the last 3 years.
  • Complete 7 years of work history with no gaps, including education, employment, license, and contact information.
  • Valid driver's license required if driving on behalf of the employer is an essential job function.
  • Criminal background check within 90 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in the past 7 years.
  • Monthly EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required prior to start and ongoing.
  • Drug screen within 90 days of start (excluding marijuana), including multiple specified substances.
  • Annual physical exam confirming ability to work without accommodations and free from communicable disease.
  • Immunization and health documentation required:
    • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year.
    • Annual TB questionnaire.
    • Documentation of MMR (Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella) vaccines or positive titers.
    • Hepatitis B titer, series, or signed declination.
    • Varicella vaccines or positive titer.
    • Tdap vaccine within 10 years preferred.
    • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season.
  • N95 fit test within 9 months of start, updated annually (client may complete onsite if needed).
  • Completion of facility-specific modules (SITELS) prior to start date.
  • Annual competency exams including medication/pharmacology and other relevant tests as applicable.
  • Photo for badge with specific requirements (clear, centered, no glare, solid background).

Notes

  • Locals within 60 miles may be considered at a different rate (not disclosed here).
  • Background checks must be updated every 3 years or if there is a 6-month gap in service.
  • Drug screen must be repeated if there is a break in service of 6 months or more.
  • Facility requires strict adherence to immunization and health documentation policies.
  • Orientation and safety manual acknowledgment required annually.

This position is ideal for CT Technologists with travel experience seeking a 13-week contract in Maryland with a consistent 3x12-hour weekend shift schedule.
