CT Tech - Radiology (Travel Position)

Location: Richmond, Virginia

Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36 hours
• Shift: Varies, includes weekends and holiday rotation; no on-call required
• Unit: Freestanding 12-bed Emergency Room with 7 vertical fast track area
• Patient Volume: Average 80 patients per day, with 100+ during winter surge
• Equipment: GE Optima CT scanner, GE portable x-ray
• Documentation Systems: Meditech, Sectra
• Floating: Not required

Unit & Work Environment

• Busy, high-acuity freestanding ER
• Moderate pediatric volume
• Excellent teamwork and culture with high patient experience scores (>80th percentile)
• Acute Stroke Ready facility
• No surgical procedures or biopsies performed on unit
• Professional, friendly environment prioritizing patient care

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Virginia
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience as an X-Ray Technician
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Ability to work independently covering both CT and X-ray modalities, often as the sole staff for both
• Strong communication skills and professionalism
