Description

Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Travel Assignment)

Location

Salt Lake City, Utah

Assignment Details

Travel position
Contract length: 8 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Hours per week: 36
Scheduling requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period
Floating policy: Float only between main Emergency Department (ED) and Freestanding Emergency Departments (FSEDs)
On-call: None
Patient ratio: 4:1
Unit type: Emergency Department with 32 main ED beds, 10 FSED beds, and 12 additional FSED beds
Team nursing model with paramedics, EMTs, and dedicated unit secretary
Documentation system: Epic
Dress code: Caribbean Blue scrubs

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Utah
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training
