Description
Job Opportunity: Home Health Registered Nurse
Location: Manchester, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5x8 hours)
- Visits per day: Approximately 6
- Weekend rotation required as needed
- No call or float requirements
- Unit orientation: 8 hours
- Scrubs: Any style allowed
- Must be able to perform admissions and complete OASIS assessments
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Hampshire
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of Home Health experience, with at least some experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment required; first-time travelers are not accepted
- Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement required
Background and Compliance Requirements
- Background check required within 30 days of start, including:
- Social Security verification
- National sex offender registry
- National criminal search
- FACIS Level 3
- Education verification
- Criminal county/state searches (excluding NH counties; NH State Police search required)
- Motor vehicle background check if driving to patient homes (with specific criteria)
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days prior to start
- SSA release and state-specific releases (NH, MA if applicable) required
- Transcript/diploma acceptable if education verification is pending
- Facility-specific compliance attestation required
Immunization and Exemption Policies
- Seasonal flu vaccination required annually between October 31 and April 1
- Medical and religious exemptions allowed with proper documentation and facility approval
- Hepatitis B waiver required if declining vaccine
- Facility-specific waiver forms must be completed for exemptions
Additional Notes
- Travelers who have previously been employed by the associated health system are not eligible regardless of separation time
- Candidates located within 50 miles of the facility may receive a rate adjustment (not included here)
- Passport-style photo required for badge issuance
- Proof of auto insurance required if driving to patient homes
- Facility requires documentation of OSHA education (Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement)
This position is ideal for experienced travel RNs with home health skills, who meet the licensure and certification requirements and are comfortable with the compliance and immunization standards outlined.
