Description
X-ray Technician
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (8-hour evening shift)
Contract Length: 6 weeks
Job Description
- Work primarily in the Emergency Department (ED), inpatient units, and perform portable X-rays.
- Must be willing to learn pediatric and neonatal imaging.
- Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment.
- Evaluate images for technical quality.
- Use EMR systems including EPIC and Sectra.
- Work with equipment brands such as GE, Phillips, and CareStream.
- Assigned to a specific department daily but expected to float as needed.
- Responsible for working with students and performing competency check-offs.
- Mask fit required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technologist or X-Ray Technician experience within the last year.
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma or Level 2 Trauma patients.
- Current BLS certification.
- ARRT certification.
