Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Location: Kansas City, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Work in an 18 Operating Room (OR) unit within a Level I trauma center.
Procedures include Hearts, Trauma, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Urology, Gynecology, and Robotics (DaVinci and Mako).
Documentation system used: Meditech.
Floating policy does not apply to the OR unit.

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum 2 years of experience in the Operating Room specialty.
Certifications required: BLS and ACLS.
Must have OR skills.

Additional Information

Unit staffing includes unit secretaries and tech availability.
Patient ratios and scheduling requirements are defined by the unit.
Patient experience requirements are part of the hospital standards.
