Rehabilitation Therapy Contract Position

Location: Honakaa, Hawaii
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 26 weeks

Job Overview

• Provide professional occupational therapy services under general supervision for habilitation and rehabilitation of patients.
• Work primarily in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)/inpatient settings, with some outpatient duties.
• May provide all therapy services for a unit, center, or facility.
• Perform diagnostic assessments, prepare and implement treatment plans.
• Must be available to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed; services provided 24/7.
• Equipment used includes EMR system (Meditech).

Schedule

• 7 days per week departmental coverage.
• Typical workweek is 5 days with a possible 1 weekend day.
• Possible schedules: Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday.
• Must arrive the Thursday before start date for employee health appointment on Friday.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Rehabilitation Therapist license in Hawaii.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Rehabilitation Therapist, including experience within the last year.
• Experience in Acute Care, Long Term Care, Rehabilitation, and Outpatient settings.
• Physical Therapist experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Additional Information

• Candidate must apply for Hawaii license immediately upon acceptance if not already licensed.
