Description
Registered Nurse (LTC) - Travel/Contract
Location: Ogdensburg, New York
Shift: Night, 4 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Contract Length: Approximately 26 weeks
Job Summary
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered, recovery-focused mental health nursing care to individuals with serious mental illness.
- Participate as a vital member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team.
- Responsibilities include nursing assessments, care planning and modification, health teaching, counseling, education, infection control, symptom observation, and medication response reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- Minimum of 1 year of Long Term Care (LTC) experience, with LTC experience within the last year.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
