Registered Nurse - Endoscopy

Location: Smyrna, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel

Unit Information

Unit: Endoscopy
Location: 1st floor, Main Hospital
Number of Beds: 3 Endoscopy Suites
Staff per Suite: 2-4
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Shift Type: Day shift with call coverage; night shift available
Equipment Used: Endoscopy, Bronchoscopy
EMR Systems: Meditech, Provation

Typical Procedures

EGD (Esophagogastroduodenoscopy)
Colonoscopy
PillCam
SmartPill
Bravo
Manometry
EndoFLIP
Bronchoscopy (including Super D Navigated Bronchoscopy)

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Preferred Candidate Profile

Prior Endoscopy experience is mandatory
Fast-moving, team player personality
Able to work every 5-8 days and weekends on rotation depending on staff coverage

Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs
No floating assignments
Facility is located about 25 minutes from Downtown Nashville in a family-friendly town with historical sites nearby
