Job Opportunity: Technologist - Computed Tomography (CT)

Location: North Adams, Massachusetts

Job Description

• Primarily CT technologist role with required X-Ray experience.
• Perform a wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and critical thinking.
• Facilitate diagnosis by applying appropriate skills.
• May have supervisory or instructional responsibilities as assigned.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and practice infection control per OSHA and hospital policies.
• Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, CT, PACS, HIS, and RIS systems.
• Perform primary diagnostic Radiology and CT scan tasks, including IV insertion and injections.
• Must be willing to perform other duties within scope of practice during low census periods.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current CT and X-Ray experience.
• Prior travel experience required: at least 6 months of previous travel assignments.
• Must have current agency experience of 6 months to 1 year or more; first-time travelers with an agency will not be considered.
• Massachusetts Radiology License.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT and Radiography.
• Must have own vehicle for assignment.
• Meditech Expanse experience is highly preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved at the time of application; no scheduling requests will be approved after offer.
• No more than 5 days of RTO allowed during the assignment.
• Travelers working concurrent per diem or PRN assignments will not be considered.

  • Skills checklists for X-Ray and CT tech (current within 1 year)
  • Required licenses and certifications
  • Permanent address
