Respiratory Therapist - Nights
Location: York, Maine
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (6:00 pm to 6:30 am)
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Provide advanced respiratory therapy care, assessment, and education.
- Evaluate, monitor, and manage complex life support systems for acute or chronically ill patients.
- Perform complex mechanical ventilator procedures including pressure and volume control and other continuous ventilation modes.
- Participate as a member of the cardiac arrest team and respond to emergencies.
- Work primarily with ICU patients in a hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Polysomnographer, including experience within the last year.
- Experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
