OT Home Health - Hood River, OR
Job Details
- Location: Hood River, Oregon and surrounding areas
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Shift: Day shift, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
- Patient Load: 1:1 ratio, up to 6 patients per day (30 productivity points standard)
- Weekend Requirement: No
- Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off up to one shift every two weeks
- Transportation: Traveler must have own transportation; daily travel radius up to ~60 miles (60-90 minutes total drive time)
- Attire: Business casual; scrubs allowed but not required; no jeans
- Charting System: EPIC Remote Client (laptop), Rover app (phone), and OASIS documentation
Required Qualifications
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in Oregon
- Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience within the last year
- Experience in a Home Health setting
- Experience with OASIS documentation
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience with National Patient Safety Goals and Core Measures
- Billing knowledge
- Home Health care experience
- OASIS documentation proficiency
- Experience with activities of daily living, acute and chronic disorders, and functional activities
- Patient diagnoses commonly seen: Dementia, Parkinson’s, ALS, MS, orthopedic post-op, post-stroke

- Locals Accepted: Candidates within 50-75 mile radius considered local and accepted at the same rate
