Description

CT Tech (Radiology) - Travel Position

Location: Wichita, Kansas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

Level 1 Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center
Large hospital with approximately 750 beds
CT Department averages about 130 scans per day
Staffing:
- Lead tech plus three techs on dayshift
- Split shift 9a-9p
- One night shift tech 7p-7a (aiming for two but limited by staffing)
Equipment:
- Four GE CT scanners (64 slice and above)
- PACS and FUJI Synapse systems
EMR system: Meditech

Typical Procedures

CTA chest, neck, abdomen
CTA cardiac studies (Structural Heart program)
CT head stroke protocol

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in Kansas
Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
ARRT certification
BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with GE scanners
Prior experience with Meditech EMR

Work Environment & Culture

Team-oriented with good interdepartmental collaboration
Dependable and prompt professionals preferred
Dress code: Black scrubs (not provided)

Additional Notes

Busy trauma and stroke center environment
Rotating weekend schedule
Shift hours typically 7 AM to 7 PM
