Respiratory Therapist
Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Job Description
- Perform diagnostic tests including pulmonary function tests, arterial blood gas analysis, and sleep studies.
- Administer and monitor respiratory therapies such as oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, and inhalation therapy.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, breathing techniques, and respiratory equipment use.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Stay current with advancements in respiratory therapy to improve patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Oklahoma
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
