Job Opportunity: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel/Contract

Work Schedule

• Night shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM)
• Weekends as needed
• May float to other facilities as required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Ohio
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current NBRC certification

Background and Compliance Requirements

• Criminal background check required prior to start; must be updated if break in service exceeds 2 months
• FBI and BCI fingerprinting required within 12 months of start; must be completed before starting assignment
• Monthly EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required
• Employment application must include 3 years of prior work history, with at least 2 years in acute care and similar specialty area
• Two recent satisfactory pre-employment references required
• Unit-specific competency exam and skills checklist required; must be updated annually
• HIPAA acknowledgment form required; must be updated annually

Health and Safety Requirements

• Pre-employment physical exam within 1 year of start, confirming ability to perform essential job functions
• Fit mask test (N95 or equivalent) within 12 months of start; must be updated annually
• Negative 2-step TB test or chest x-ray within 6 months of start; annual renewal required
• Required immunizations or titers for Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start; annual renewal required
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 31 - Mar 31); no declinations accepted

Onboarding and Facility Requirements

• Completion of online training modules prior to start (approximately 4-5 hours; must be completed on a computer using Chrome)
• Badge photo required before start; badge must be obtained from facility after completing modules
• I9/E-Verify attestation required
• All required certifications and documents must be submitted with application

• All work history, including any previous positions with the employer, must be included in the profile
• Scheduling and time-off requests must be communicated during submission and interview
