CT Technologist (General Imaging)

Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Shift & Hours
- 12-hour day shifts
- 36 hours per week
- No weekend rotation
- No on-call duties
- Holiday coverage: 1 summer holiday and 1 winter holiday
- Fatigue policy: Maximum 60 hours per week or 5 consecutive 12-hour shifts
Patient Population & Procedures
- Inpatient, outpatient, and ER patients
- Some pediatric patients (teenagers, ~2-3 per month; no pediatric experience required)
- General anatomy scans including calcium scoring, coronary studies, stroke alert, CTA perfusion studies, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and head
- Procedural support for biopsies and drains
Equipment & Systems
- Experience preferred with GE CT scanners (GE Revolution and Evo)
- Charting system: EPIC
Patient Ratios
- 1:1 patient ratio
Orientation & Support
- Orientation: 3 shifts to learn unit flow
- Support team includes other CT technologists, radiology RNs, respiratory therapists, Code Blue team, and centralized transport
Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ARRT-CT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Computed Tomography)
Required Experience
- Minimum 2-3 years of general CT experience in a hospital setting
- First-time travelers accepted (no prior travel experience required)
