Shift Details
- Night shift, 3 shifts per week (Friday to Sunday)
- 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
- On-call as needed for call-off coverage
Required Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
- First-time travelers are accepted (no prior travel experience required)
Job Summary
- Perform CT scans applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis
- Practice radiation safety methods at all times
- Select appropriate technical factors to limit re-exposure
- Use independent judgment and initiative in technical procedures
- Basic knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy required
- Provide patient care and communication to reduce patient apprehension
- Work settings include outpatient, inpatient, ER, Level I trauma, community hospital, and adult ICU

- IV starts
- Phlebotomy
- PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System)
- Contrast administration
- Experience with GE CT scanners
Certifications and Licenses
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Illinois
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, including experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ARRT certification
- IEMA certification
- Experience working in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Phlebotomy skills
- Experience with MEDITECH system
Documentation and Compliance Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
- Emergency contact form prior to start
- Background checks including:
- Social Security trace, county, nationwide, sex offender, and employment verification for the last 7 years
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks annually
- Illinois Adult Abuse Registry Search (can pend at start)
- Education verification (transcript or diploma acceptable)
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Fit mask testing within 12 months of start (specific mask types required)
- Immunizations and titers:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella (proof of immunity or vaccination per birth year guidelines)
- Hepatitis B (titer, declination, or vaccine series)
- Varicella (titer, vaccination, or history of chickenpox)
- 9-panel drug screen within 1 year of start
- COVID-19 medical or religious exemptions allowed with proper documentation
- Flu vaccination strongly recommended but not required

- 2 professional references within 2 years of start

This position offers a weekend night travel opportunity for CT Technologists with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including pediatric to geriatric patient care, requiring multiple certifications and compliance with state and facility-specific health and background requirements.
