Sonographer Position
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Schedule
- Rotating schedule:
- Week 1: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
- Week 2:
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
- Thursday: 9:30 AM - 8:00 PM
- Friday: 9:30 AM - 9:00 PM
- Saturday: 10:30 AM - 11:00 PM
Job Responsibilities
- Perform general sonography cases including:
- Abdomen
- Obstetrics/Gynecology (OBGYN)
- Small parts
- Abdominal vasculature
- Lower extremity deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
- Follicular studies
- Experience in NICU and Operating Room (OR) settings is a plus
- Equipment used: GE Logiq E10 and E9, GE Volusons
Required Qualifications
- Ultrasound Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Professional license/certification as a Sonographer, verified by primary source within 30 days of start date
- Must meet all health and safety requirements including:
- N95 respirator fit test within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no exemptions allowed)
- Respirator Medical Clearance attestation if fit test required
- Documentation of immunity or vaccination for Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR)
- Tuberculosis (TB) test documentation within 3 months of start date, updated if break >6 months
- Physician health statement within 365 days of start date, updated if break >6 months
- Criminal background checks and verifications including:
- National and Massachusetts CORI background checks within 45 days prior to start date, updated if break >6 months
- Social Security Number trace for past 7 years
- National sex offender registry check within 30 days of start date, updated annually
- Exclusion checks against OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid lists within 30 days of start, updated annually
- Submission requirements prior to consideration:
- Resume with past 7 years of work experience including city and state
- Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher in the skillset
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year
- Candidate submission coversheet for initial assignment or new facility submission
- Additional onboarding requirements:
- Color photo (headshot, shoulders up, plain background, no glasses, no filters) taken within past 6 months
- Confirmation of assignment/POI form upon acceptance and for any extensions
- Education verification through background check company (highest level achieved)
- Name change documentation if legal name differs from credential documentation
