Description

Registered Nurse - Telemetry (Flushing, NY)

Job Details

Specialty: Telemetry (Tele)
Location: Flushing, New York
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Shift: Night (11.5 hours)
Hours per Week: Choice of 34.5 or 46 hours
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Unit: Medical-Surgical Float (must have Ventilator and Tracheostomy experience)
Float Requirement: Yes, to areas within acuity
Dress Code: Navy bottom with white top and dark shoes, or all white with white shoes

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Minimum 2 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience, including experience within the last year
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Ventilator (VENT) experience
Tracheostomy (TRACH) experience
Prior travel experience

Additional Information

Interviews required: Voice Advantage Interview plus Nurse Manager Screening/Interview
Weekly start dates; 4-6 weeks on average needed to complete compliance
