Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room
Location: Independence, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Unit Information
- Department: Surgery
- Unit Beds: 10
- Staff: 50 total
- Day Shift Staffing: 10 RNs, 10-14 Scrub Techs
- Night Shift Staffing: 1 RN, 1 Scrub Tech
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Equipment Used: Robotic systems, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Genitourinary, Heart, Endovascular, Laparoscopic
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech
Job Requirements
- Valid RN license in Missouri
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in orthopedics, neurology, and trauma
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
Required Certifications and Licenses
- Registered Nurse (RN) License
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
