Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Details

• Unit: Operating Room
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Scheduling: Variable schedule with call required
• Floating: May float to other departments
• Documentation System: Cerner
• Dress Code: Scrubs provided by facility
• Procedures: Variable surgical procedures including general, gynecology, robotics, neurology, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• Broad surgical knowledge with experience in multiple service lines including general surgery, gynecology (GYN), robotics, neurology, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma
