Description
Job Opportunity: Labor and Delivery Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Paoli, Indiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 16:00 - 4:30)
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Unit & Work Environment
- Labor and Delivery unit requiring labor and delivery experience
- Preferred: Experienced LDRP nurse
- Level 1 nursery and Level 1 OB/delivery care
- Procedures include circumcision, external version, and C-section
- Equipment includes Panda warmers with built-in Neo-puff and Philips fetal monitoring with wireless capability
- OB Hemorrhage Cart available
- Staffing ratio: 1 nurse to 2 couplets
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for Indiana
- Minimum 1.5 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience, with experience within the last year
- Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
