Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - SICU

Unit Description

Surgical/Trauma Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Fast-paced, 15-bed unit
Level 1 facility
Adult critical care patients (surgical and trauma)

Shift Details

Night shift: 4 shifts of 12 hours each (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
48 hours per week
Every other weekend and every other holiday required
Block scheduling cannot be accommodated or guaranteed
Time off: 40 hours approved; unable to approve return to office (RTO) for Memorial Day weekend

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience with Epic electronic health record system
