CT Tech (Radiology) - Travel Position

Location: Aventura, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

• Unit has 18 beds and a staff of 8, including Radiologists, Radiologist Techs, Ultrasound Techs, MRI Techs, and CT Techs.
• Day shift includes Director, Radiologist, and 6-7 Techs; night shift includes Charge RN, on-call team, and 3-4 Techs depending on volume.
• Patient ratios vary between 1:1 and 1:2 based on patient stability.
• Equipment used: All GE equipment including MRI units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, and fluoroscopy.
• Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech.

Typical Procedures

• CT Scans
• MRI
• Body scanning
• X-Rays
• Creating detailed images of bones, organs, and tissues for accurate assessment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
• ARRT certification
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GE equipment and Meditech EMR system.
• Additional certifications such as RT (T), ASRT, or FASRT are a plus.
