Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Position
Location
- Denver, Colorado
Employment Type
- Travel contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Hours per week: 36
Unit Information
- Respiratory Care Department (adult patients)
- Day shift: 7 AM to 7 PM
- Equipment used: G5, Servo, Avea, HFOV, Jet, V60/V30 ventilators
- Electronic Medical Record system: Meditech
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Colorado
- Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBRC, NRP, PALS
- Experience working with Neonate and Pediatric patients
Preferred Qualifications
- Critical care experience (adult and neonatal/pediatric)
- PICU experience
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
Typical Procedures
- Airway management
- Ventilator management
- Emergency Department support
Additional Information
- Strong patient care skills and effective communication with staff and providers are essential
- The unit uses advanced respiratory equipment specific to patient populations
