Job Description Highlights

• Work involves CT technology within the SEMC department.
• Scheduling varies depending on the modality.
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend (Days: Saturday/Sunday; Nights: Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday).
• Holiday requirement: Every other holiday, including major holidays and their eves.
• No call or standby required.
• No IV starts required; ER nurses assist if needed.
• Scrub color is flexible; any scrub color is acceptable.
• Orientation hours: 12 non-billable hours; orientation depends on modality and traveler’s familiarity with equipment.
• EMR/PACS systems used: Epic and McKesson PACS.
• Floating/covering other areas depends on modality and traveler’s equipment familiarity.

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois license for radiation.
• Certified CT Technologist credential (ARRT - CT).
• BLS certification (AHA).
• Must comply with a drug-free workplace policy and produce a negative drug screen for all panels.
• Submission requirements include last four digits of SSN, middle initial, requested time off, and confirmation of Illinois license or application initiation.

Additional Notes

• Local rate adjustments apply for clinicians living within 50 miles.
• Call-off policy allows 12 hours off every 13 weeks without penalty.
• No scrubs provided.
