Description
Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) (Nights)
Location: Glens Falls, New York
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours per Day: 12
Job Description
- Must have EPIC experience; proficiency should be clearly noted on the profile.
- Required to float to Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units as needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Traveler must have their own vehicle.
- Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at submission; no more than 5 days of time off will be accepted. No time off requests after submission will be approved.
- Dress code: Personal scrubs of any solid color (no designs or cartoons), no hoodies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of RN experience.
- Minimum 3 years of ICU/CCU experience.
- Prior travel experience is required.
- Must hold a valid New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate (required by the state of NY for temporary staffing).
- Current Nursys license, BLS, and ACLS certifications must be uploaded with the profile; facility will not pend licenses or certifications.
- Must pass a 14-panel drug screen within 24 hours of offer acceptance, covering amphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, cocaine metabolite, opiates, phencyclidine, methadone, methaqualone, propoxyphene, buprenorphine, and 6-acetylmorphine.
- Completion of verbal de-escalation training from either Welle or CPI is required for onboarding and clearance (effective 1/1/2024).
- Permanent address must be included in the profile and must match Driver License/State ID; address will be validated during compliance.
- Candidates from the following New York counties will not be considered: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, Washington.

Additional Information
- COVID-19 vaccinations are encouraged but not required.

- Non-billable orientation: 8 hours.
- Overtime, holiday, and call-back multipliers: 1.25x.
