Description

Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

Location: Jersey City, New Jersey
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Job Description

Work in a Level 2 Trauma Center operating room.
Must be able to perform both circulating and scrub roles.
Patient mix includes all OR specialties except open heart surgery.
Required experience in robotic and ENT surgeries.
Experience in orthopedic, vascular, general, thoracic, and neuro surgeries is required.
Call required 2 times per schedule.
Charting system used: EPIC.
Scrubs provided.
First-time travelers are accepted.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey.
Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Acute care experience.
Experience in ENT, orthopedic, vascular, thoracic, and neurological surgeries.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
