RN - Cardiac Cath Lab (Travel)

Unit Information

• Cardiac Cath Lab with 4 cardiovascular labs
• Staff includes approximately 8 members per shift (e.g., 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters)
• Shift options: 4 days of 10 hours or 5 days of 8 hours, with weekly night call and rotating weekend call
• Patient ratios typically 1:1 or 1:2 (not guaranteed)
• Equipment includes GE systems
• EMR systems: Mac Lab and Meditech
• Procedures performed: Left and Right Heart Catheterization (LHC/RHC), congenital, vascular, and electrophysiology (EP) procedures
• Patient population includes both pediatric and adult cardiac, vascular, EP, and congenital cases

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Colorado
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in electrophysiology (EP)
• Pediatric Cath Lab experience

Work Hours

• Approximately 36 hours per week
