Job Opportunity: EP Tech - Radiology
Location
- Austin, Texas
Employment Type
- Travel contract
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Shift: 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- On-call required
- No weekends required
- Approximately 36 hours per week
Unit Information
- EP Lab with 1 lab room
- Staff per procedure: 3-4 (mix of techs and RNs plus anesthesia)
- Day shift staffed; no night shift
- Patient ratio: 1:1
- Equipment used: Philips
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Meditech
Typical Procedures
- Standard implant procedures
- All EP ablation cases except VT ablations
- Watchman procedures (high volume)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Electrophysiology Technician, including experience within the last year
- ARRT certification
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of scrubbing experience
- De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting
Work Environment & Culture
- Very busy lab requiring a strong sense of urgency
- Scrubs provided by hospital (specific scrub color required)
- Highly engaged team with the 4th highest engagement score in the hospital
