Registered Nurse (Float Ambulatory Clinic) - Wisconsin

Job Details

• Location: Beaver Dam, Wisconsin
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• Floating: Required to float as needed within the clinic
• Orientation: 2 weeks (number of shifts)
• Weekend and holiday work: Not required
• Call or standby: Not required
• Dress Code: Any scrubs
• Clinic Type: Cardiology and Pulmonary, with float duties
• Average Patients per Day: 15-18
• Average Providers per Day: 1
• Use of Medical Assistants or CNAs: Yes (shift 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Cerner

Job Duties

• Placing orders
• Calling patients back
• Triage and reviewing results for provider
• Chart preparation

Patient Population

• Cardiac and pulmonary patients

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 1 year of ambulatory care experience, including experience within the last year
• Clinic experience
• Cardiology experience
• Pulmonology experience
