Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Travel Position

Location: Aurora, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Unit Information

Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
Beds: 8 Holding Bays and 4 Cath/EP suites
Staff: 16 total
Shifts:
- Day Shift: 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- Night Shift: rotating on-call
Patient Ratio: 3 staff to 1 patient in procedural area
Equipment: Philips Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab, CardioLab for EP
EMR System: Meditech

Typical Procedures

Left Heart Catheterization (LHC)
Right Heart Catheterization (RHC)
Electrophysiology (EP) Ablations
Pacemaker and Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) management
Cardioversions
Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
Tilt Table Tests

Required Qualifications

Cath Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
ACLS certification
BLS certification
Cath Lab Tech Certification
USP 800 Hazardous Drug Risk knowledge
Proficient scrub skills and experience
Ability to take on-call responsibilities and be housed within 30 minutes of the Cath Lab

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with EP, Structural Heart procedures, and Right Heart monitoring
Positive attitude and strong engagement in high-quality patient care
